I grew up in Boston in a middle-class family. I was surrounded by love growing up, but also by a poverty mindset. "Money doesn't grow on trees" was a constant statement echoing through my household. I learned to work very hard at a young age. I had all kinds of jobs starting from the time I was 14, including babysitting, painting, masonry, retail, telemarkting, and data entry.

Although I was grateful to be making my own money, I didn't particularly enjoy any of these jobs. Most of all, though - I hated working for someone else. Having a boss, or multiple bosses to report to never sat well with me.

I slogged it out until it was time to go to college. During this time, I had started modeling for fun. My goal at that time wasn't to earn money with it - it was something that fed my creativity, that I genuinely enjoyed. Until one day, when a photographer wanted to take photos of my feet. Completely baffled by this, I did some research and realized that this was something I could make money doing.

The wheels started turning, and I decided to see just how deep this rabbit hole went. As I would find out, it went very deep - deep enough to allow me to leave behind the 9-5 forever, be my own boss, set my own rules, travel the world, and to fully live my life the way I want.

I am blessed to be able to have found this path - and now I want to share with you how I did it, and how you can do it, too.
